1984-1985 Chicago Bulls Team Signed Basketball (Jordan Rookie Year)

Michael Jordan’s first season with the Chicago Bulls made the rest of the NBA stand on notice. The third overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft was already the best player in the NBA at the end of his first season, averaging 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists per game, and 2.4 steals per game. The Bulls had found their savior, reaching the playoffs in Jordan’s rookie season despite finishing with a dismal 27-55 record the year prior to his anointment as the face of the NBA. Jordan was named the NBA’s Rookie of the Year in the voter’s easiest decision in recent memory while also earning a spot on the All-NBA Second Team and the All-Rookie First Team.

This offered Spalding basketball has been signed in bold black sharpie by the whole 1984-1985 Chicago Bulls team, 3 assistant coaches and the head coach.  Signatures include Michael Jordan, Orlando Woolridge, Sidney Green, Dave Corzine, David Greenwood, Caldwell Jones, Kevin Loughery, Steve Johnson, Fred Carter, Ennis Whatley, Mike Thibault, Bill Blair, Jawann Oldham,  Wes Mathews, Rod Higgins and Quintin Dailey.

(Please note this was updated on 7/22/2020) - The LOA from Beckett Authentication lists the ball as signed with 16 signatures and lists 15 names and "one other".  It's MJAuthentic23 opinion, that the "one other" is Quintin DaileyWith this being said, the basketball is being sold under the description of what is on the Beckett LOA (Pictured above).

A great 1984-85 Bulls’ signed basketball and it comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication.

A very rare team signed Bulls basketball to add to your collection.
