Michael Jordan Signed Chicago Bulls 72-Win Street Banner From City of Chicago

This maybe one of the rarest of Jordan signed pieces we have come across in a long time and one that has amazing authenticity.

This is a Chicago Bulls Championship Street banner autographed by Michael Jordan.  This banner was obtained from the City of Chicago (Mayor's Office of Special Events) as a thank you for a donation supporting the Mayor's "Sharing It" program.

The Banner is about 98 inches tall by 31 inches wide.  The banners is in Near-mint to Mint condition.  The Banner is signed in Black sharpie by Michael Jordan across the bottom of the banner and stretches almost 2 feet in width!  This is one of the largest Jordan signatures out there.

The Banner commemorates the Bulls record 72 Win season and is the same on the front and back.

The piece comes with a Letter from the office of then Mayor of Chicago, Richard M. Daley that thanks the donor for there "very generous" contribution and states  that they purchased a "Chicago Bulls Championship Street Banner autographed by Michael Jordan."  The letter is dated June 14, 1996 which coincides with the 72-10 championship season that this banner commemorates.

There is also a second letter from the then Mayor of Chicago Richard M. Daley that thanks the donor for there generous donation to the "Share It" program and references the "autographed Bulls Championship Banner."  This letter is dated June 19, 1996.
